Newcastle’s Michelle England is one step closer to achieving her ultimate aim_ becoming Australian National Freestyle Champion.
The 30 year old came second at the Tannum Sands National championships this year and is pleased that she achieved her best ever freestyle competition result.
Michelle has placed consistently in the nations top three in wave and freestyle riding events since she began competing two and a half years ago, she finished third at Mambo in 08, first at the Adrenaline Rush Sports comp in Mackay in 08 and second at the 2008 wave riding nationals.
Her favourite riding spots around Newcastle are at Swansea and Belmont.
