Former world champion and Playboy model Kristen Boese will be the
guest of honour at Week of the Wind, which will run as part of the St
Kilda festival.

Kite Mag - Australia's no.1 magazine for kite surfing enthusiasts- has
won the exclusive rights to stage the event as part of the St Kilda
Festival (Feb 8-14, 2010).
More than 300,000 people are expected to attend the event on St
Valentine's Day to help celebrate the cream of Australian kiteboarding.
"I am very excited about the opportunity to hold a "KB4girls" clinic
during the "week of  the wind," Kristen said.
"I cant wait to teach the local girls some new moves and help them
push their kiting to the next level during this fun kite event that
every kiteboarder in Australia should join."
"One of the goals of KB4girls is to motivate girls to compete in national and
international kiteboarding competitions and I am especially excited to
be able to coach the girls that are interested during the national
championships on the weekend.
"This is going to be the best preparation ever for  the girls that
also want to try their luck in the PKRA World Cup at the Gold Coast
later this year."
